bet365 Withdrawal Times
Hours, not days — if you picked the right rail on the way in. Here is what each Canadian payout method really takes, where the delay hides, and how to stop your first cash-out being your slowest.
1–4h
Interac e-Transfer
~12h
Wire transfer
1–5d
Card payout
C$10
Minimum
A payout has four stages, and only one of them is slow
When people compare withdrawal times at an online casino they usually quote a single number, which is why the numbers never match their experience. A Canadian cash-out actually passes through four separate stages, run by three different organisations, and the one that eats the time is rarely the casino's.
The stages are: you submit, the operator approves, the money is pushed onto a payment rail, and your bank posts it to your account. Interac collapses the last two stages into minutes. A card stretches the last one across the better part of a working week. Same casino, same approval speed, wildly different answer to "when does it land".
You submit
Instant. The balance leaves your account immediately and the request shows as pending.
Operator approval
Usually 1 to 4 hours. Longer if verification is outstanding or the amount is large.
Onto the rail
Minutes on Interac. A card refund and a wire both enter a batch instead.
Your bank posts it
The stage nobody controls. Interac is same-day; cards can sit here for days.
Bank rails: Interac e-Transfer and wire
Interac e-Transfer is the reason a Canadian account can be faster to pay than a British or Australian one. It settles seven days a week, it does not care about banking hours, and it arrives as an ordinary incoming transfer rather than a card refund with a batch queue behind it. From approval to money-in-account, one to four hours is the norm.
Interac e-Transfer
- Typical time
- 1–4 hours
- Limits
- C$10 – C$10,000
- Weekends
- Yes, unaffected
- Casino fee
- None
Turn on autodeposit at your bank before you request it. Without autodeposit you have to open the notification email and answer a security question, and an unclaimed transfer expires after 30 days.
Wire transfer
- Typical time
- ~12 hours to release
- Limits
- C$10 – C$25,000
- Weekends
- No, banking days only
- Casino fee
- None, bank may charge
The release is quick; the receiving bank is what adds a day or two. This is the route you are given when the original deposit method cannot take money back, and the route for a payout above the Interac ceiling.
The closed loop decides your speed before you ever click withdraw. Money goes back the way it came, so the deposit method you pick on day one is the payout speed you get on day thirty. Depositing by Interac to get paid by Interac is a two-second decision that saves several days. The full rule set is on the payment methods page.
Debit and credit cards
Card payouts are where the "bet365 is slow" complaints come from, and the complaint is misdirected. The operator approves a card withdrawal in the same one to four hours it approves an Interac one. What happens next is a refund travelling back through Visa's or Mastercard's settlement cycle to your issuer, and Canadian issuers take one to five business days to post it. Nobody at the casino can hurry that along, and neither can you.
Two things make it worse than it needs to be. First, weekends do not count as business days, so a Friday-evening request commonly posts on Wednesday. Second, on a credit card the payout is applied as a refund against your original deposit, which reduces the balance owing instead of putting cash in your hand — and anything above what you deposited has to leave by another route entirely.
Visa Debit
Approved 1–4h, posted 1–5 business days. C$10 to C$40,000. The most predictable card option.
Mastercard Debit
Same window. Some Canadian issuers hold gaming refunds an extra day for review; there is no way to see that from your side.
Credit cards
Paid as a refund, capped at what you deposited. The surplus is routed to a bank transfer, which is a separate wait.
Device wallets, and the wallets that are not here
Apple Pay and Google Pay look like e-wallets and are not. Each is a token sitting on top of a card, so a payout to either one is a card payout wearing a friendlier badge. Best case it lands the same evening. Realistic case is one to two business days, because it is the underlying card that receives it. If somebody tells you Apple Pay is the fast way to cash out in Canada, they are describing a market that has genuine wallets in the cashier.
No PayPal, Skrill or Neteller on Canadian accounts
On markets that have them, e-wallets are the same-day answer. Canada does not have them here, and Interac e-Transfer fills the gap perfectly well. Paysafecard cannot receive money at all, so a voucher deposit means a bank-transfer payout whether you like it or not.
Apple Pay payouts
Instant to 1–2 business days, C$10 to C$40,000. Returned to the card linked in Wallet, which must be the card that funded the deposit.
Google Pay payouts
Same behaviour and the same ceiling. If you have swapped the default card in Google Wallet since depositing, expect the payout to be re-routed.
Every payout method, side by side
Times run from the moment the withdrawal is approved, not from the moment you click. Amounts are per transaction, in Canadian dollars.
| Method | Min | Max | Time to land | Weekends | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | C$10 | C$10,000 | 1–4 hours | Yes | None |
| Wire transfer | C$10 | C$25,000 | ~12 hours to release | No | Bank may charge |
| Visa Debit | C$10 | C$40,000 | 1–5 business days | No | None |

Why a withdrawal gets held
Nearly every stuck payout has one of six explanations, and five of them are fixable in an afternoon.
Verification has not been completed
This is the big one. Identity checks fire on the first withdrawal, not the first deposit, so people play for weeks and then meet the paperwork at the worst possible moment. Government photo ID and a proof of address dated within the last three months usually clears in under a business day. Upload both on day one and this stage disappears.
Your address document is out of date
A utility bill or bank statement older than three months is rejected, and so is a screenshot that crops the date. A statement PDF straight from your bank's site is the version that goes through first time. Provincial ID with your current address on it counts for both documents in some cases.
A bonus is still in play
Funds tied to an unfinished wagering requirement are not withdrawable, and the cashier will simply show a lower available balance rather than explain why. Check whether a bonus is active before you assume a payout has been blocked.
You cancelled and re-submitted
Reversing a pending withdrawal puts the money back in your playable balance and sends the new request to the back of the queue. It is the most common self-inflicted delay there is, and it is invisible in the timestamps you can see.
The amount crossed a review threshold
Large payouts, and any payout that looks unusual against your deposit history, get a manual look. Nothing is wrong; it simply moves from an automated queue to a human one, which adds hours rather than days. Splitting a big cash-out into several small ones does not speed it up and tends to attract more attention, not less.
The site itself is having a bad hour
Rare, but it happens, and a cashier that will not load looks identical to a payout that has been refused. Rule it out in thirty seconds on the is it down page before you open a support ticket.
How the payout shows up on your statement
Interac e-Transfer
Lands as a normal incoming transfer from the operating company, with your bank's own reference attached. With autodeposit on there is nothing to accept. Without it, the notification arrives at whichever address is registered with Interac, which is not always the one on your casino account — a mismatch there is a classic cause of a payout that "never arrived".
Card refund
Appears as a credit against the original deposit rather than a fresh transaction, often dated back to the deposit date. That back-dating is why people scroll to today, see nothing, and conclude the money is missing. Scroll to the date you deposited instead.
What Canadian players report
Reader messages we have been sent about payout timings, lightly trimmed. Dates are when they reached us.
"Requested C$740 by e-Transfer at about 9pm on a Sunday, it was in my account before midnight. I had expected to wait until Tuesday because of the weekend."
"First withdrawal took three days and every one since has been same-day. The three days were entirely me not having sent ID, which nobody asks for until you try to take money out."
"Cashed out to my Visa on the Friday and it landed the following Wednesday. Support was right that it had been sent, my bank was just sitting on it."
Then vs now
Payout advice ages badly. These are the lines we see repeated most often that no longer describe a Canadian account.
| Old advice | What holds today |
|---|---|
| "Use Skrill for a same-day payout" | Not offered on Canadian accounts. Interac e-Transfer is the same-day route. |
| "Withdrawals only process Monday to Friday" | True for cards and wires. Interac e-Transfer settles on weekends too. |
| "There is a 24-hour pending reversal window" | Approval is typically 1–4 hours, and reversing a request restarts the queue. |
| "iDebit pays out fastest" | iDebit and Instadebit left the Canadian cashier in late 2025. |
| "You can pick any withdrawal method you like" | The closed loop sends money back the way it came, with few exceptions. |
Withdrawal questions, answered
How long does a bet365 withdrawal take in Canada?
Interac e-Transfer is typically 1 to 4 hours from approval. Wire transfer is released within about 12 hours. Debit and credit card payouts are approved in the same 1 to 4 hours but then take 1 to 5 business days to appear, because that leg is controlled by your card issuer.
What is the fastest way to withdraw from bet365 in Canada?
Interac e-Transfer, provided you deposited by Interac in the first place. The closed-loop rule means your payout follows your deposit method, so choosing Interac at deposit is what buys you the fast cash-out later.
Why is my bet365 withdrawal still pending?
Three usual causes: verification documents are outstanding, it is a weekend or a public holiday and the receiving bank is closed, or the amount crossed a review threshold. A cancelled and re-submitted withdrawal also restarts the clock from zero.
What is the minimum withdrawal at bet365 Canada?
C$10 on Interac e-Transfer, cards and wire transfer. Per-transaction ceilings differ: C$10,000 by Interac, C$40,000 by card and C$25,000 by wire.
Does bet365 charge a withdrawal fee in Canada?
No. bet365 does not charge for a Canadian withdrawal on any method. A receiving bank can still levy its own wire fee, which is a bank charge rather than a casino one.
Can I withdraw to a different method than I deposited with?
Not by choice. The closed loop sends money back the way it arrived. You are only moved to another method when the original one cannot receive a payout, such as a Paysafecard deposit, in which case you are paid by bank transfer.
Do I need to verify my identity before withdrawing?
Yes. Verification is triggered by the first withdrawal rather than the first deposit, which is why so many first payouts feel slow. Government photo ID plus a proof of address dated within three months clears it, usually inside a business day.
Are bet365 withdrawals processed on weekends in Canada?
Interac e-Transfer runs seven days a week, so a weekend Interac payout behaves like a weekday one. Card and wire payouts depend on banking days, so a Friday-night request often does not move until Monday.
Ready to cash out?
Clear your ID checks first, request by Interac e-Transfer, and most Canadian payouts are done before the end of the day.
